This Looks Like A Beautiful Wedding Dress ’til You Look Closer

We’ve seen a few good things and some bad ones *cough, Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino, cough* happen in the food industry, but nothing prepared us for this nor do we even deserve it.

At first glance, this may look like a stunning dress but look closer and you’ll begin to see something else. This incredible creation is actually a cake inspired by a wedding dress. ICYMI, Cake International competition was held at Alexandra Palace in London with its theme “Wedding Gowns Through the Ages,” and the results are beyond beautiful!

But everyone was stunned with this creation designed by non other than world-renowned Emma Jayne Cake Design. The design was inspired by a real wedding dress created by Filipino designer Mak Tumang, and as you can see, the cake replica is perfect.

This life-size confection is generating tons of buzz, obviously, and should be the cake of the year–it definitely is in our books. I simply cannot imagine the number of hours it took to finish this amazing cake. Phew!
