Gelato Rose Is The Latest Instagrammable Food Trend

Ice cream is always a good idea. Now make that a rose-shaped gelato, and really what a time to be alive! These beautiful, lickable roses are courtesy of Amorino, a Paris-born gelato boutique.

It may look like it’s easy to make, but in reality the method takes employees three weeks of training to learn the perfect shape, and not every ice cream scooper can get the job. Amorino launched this concept in Europe since 2002, and created a buzz when they opened their first U.S. boutique in  NYC six years ago.

Now, it’s Australia’s turn to get in on the trend. Sydney’s i-Creamy, an artisan gelato store is getting all the hearts on IG for creating their own version of gelato flowers.

The shop is located in Sydney’s Central Business District. According to i-Creamy’s website they offer 24 flavors daily, has sold 1,500 gelato flowers so far, and have 96 gelato flavors rotating. Imagine the possibilities!
