Chef Released A Photo Series Paying Homage To The ‘Origin Of Menu’ And The Results Are Amazing

Some chefs take photos of their creations at the end, meaning all’s been beautifully plated and looks appetizing. Chef Robbie Postma, however, got other plans in mind and believe me when I say this: It’s absolutely beautiful and terrifying all at the same time.

MENU” is a  collaborative photo series of Postma and  photographer Robert Harrison. According to their website, the series wants to take the viewer to the origin of a menu, raw and unprocessed.  They also want to keep things personal so decided to use a very personal canvas, which means not serving their menu on a plate but on a face. Noting could be more ‘personal’ than that.

From vegetables to seafood to wine to meat to spices to starch to sweets to the final coffee, all eight photos show these elements on Postma’s face.

The whole thing is done with so much originality and creativity, and it absolutely radiates on their photos. Check out their teaser video below.
